2. What is the actual embroidery area, and how do I prevent needle strikes?
The inside hoop size is 3.9″x3.9″(100x100mm). To prevent your needle from striking the frame, the effective embroidery area is about 0.8" (20 mm) smaller than the inside size. We highly recommend always running a Trace/Outline test before stitching to confirm your design stays safely within the hoop limits.
3. How should I place the stabilizer with this magnetic frame?
We recommend placing the stabilizer and your fabric together inside the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop to prevent shifting. You can watch our product videos for detailed instructions on how to use the hoop.
4. Will the magnets strength of the frame weaken if used for a long time?
No, our hoops use premium Neodymium magnets that maintain their extreme holding power for decades. They will not lose their magnetic force during normal use, making this a reliable, one-time investment for your embroidery setup.
5. What if my machine doesn't have a preset for this exact hoop size, or it feels misaligned?
If your machine's software lacks an exact size preset, simply choose the closest preset size and use the Trace function to ensure the needle path is safe.
