Description
BN925M 8.2" x 15.7" Magnetic Embroidery Hoop for Bernina
Secure large embroidery projects with a spacious metal frame and 12 individually positioned round magnets.
The BN925M provides a generous 8.2" × 15.7" embroidery area for jacket backs, quilt blocks, towels, sweatshirts, fabric panels and other large projects.
Its 12 removable round magnets can be positioned separately around the frame. This allows you to add support where needed, leave space around raised seams or pockets, and adjust one section without releasing the entire project.

Why Choose the BN925M?
Flexible Round Magnet Placement
Each of the 12 round magnets can be positioned separately according to the fabric shape and project structure.
Place magnets closer together where more support is needed or leave space around seams, pockets and thicker areas.
Easier for Irregular Projects
The flexible magnet layout is useful for:
- Curved project edges
- Raised seams
- Pockets
- Zippers
- Straps
- Thick or layered fabric sections
- Bags and uneven garment areas
Quick Local Adjustment
Lift only the magnet nearest the fabric section that needs repositioning. The remaining magnets continue holding the rest of the project.
Large Embroidery Area
The 8.2" × 15.7" working area accommodates many large designs without requiring a smaller frame or repeated re-hooping.
Screw-Free Setup
There is no tightening screw and no rigid upper hoop. Position the stabilizer and fabric, add the magnets and adjust the layout as needed.
Soft-Coated Metal Frame
The soft flocked coating helps reduce fabric movement and protects the material from direct contact with the metal base.

FAQ
1. What is the main advantage of the 12 round magnets?
The round magnets can be positioned separately according to the project shape.
This allows targeted support, easier adjustment around uneven sections and greater flexibility when working with seams, pockets, curves or layered fabrics.
2. What is the difference between BN925M and BN925MK?
Both models have the same 8.2" × 15.7" embroidery area and fit the same listed Bernina machines.
- BN925M: 12 round magnets for flexible and targeted placement.
- BN925MK: 10 long and 2 short bar magnets for wider and more continuous edge coverage.
Choose BN925M for irregular projects or flexible magnet positioning. Choose BN925MK when broad support along long, regular fabric edges is preferred.
3. How does it differ from a traditional screw hoop?
A traditional hoop clamps fabric between two rigid rings and requires manual tension adjustment.
The BN925M secures the fabric and stabilizer against a metal base with removable magnets. One section can be adjusted without completely releasing and re-hooping the project.
4. How does it compare with the DIME Snap Hoop Monster?
Both systems use magnetic holding power and a metal base frame.
Many Snap Hoop Monster models use a complete upper magnetic frame. The BN925M uses 12 separate round magnets that can be individually positioned, removed or adjusted.
The round magnets are particularly useful around curved or uneven project areas.
5. How does it differ from fixed-position magnetic sash frames?
On a fixed-position frame, magnets are normally restricted to specific locations.
The BN925M round magnets can be arranged on suitable sections of the metal base according to the fabric and design. This allows you to concentrate support where it is needed.
Every magnet must remain outside the active stitching path.
6. Can it be used for a design larger than the hoop?
A design larger than 8.2" × 15.7" must be divided into properly aligned embroidery sections.
The removable magnets can simplify fabric repositioning, but suitable embroidery software, registration marks and accurate alignment are still necessary.
Never stitch beyond the embroidery boundary supported by the machine.
7. Is a smaller hoop still useful?
Yes. A smaller hoop may provide better support for small designs because the fabric edges and magnets remain closer to the stitching area.
The BN925M is designed primarily for large projects. Keeping both large and small hoops allows you to choose a frame that more closely matches the design size.
8. Is it suitable for frequent embroidery or a small home business?
It can be useful for users who regularly embroider large towels, garments, quilt blocks, bags and personalized fabric panels.
The flexible magnet placement may reduce setup and adjustment time, especially for uneven or hard-to-hoop items.
9. What should I do if the Bernina machine shows an error or does not detect the frame?
Check that the frame is fully connected to the embroidery module.
If the frame is not automatically detected:
- Remove and reinstall it.
- Restart the machine if necessary.
- Select an appropriate supported hoop size or embroidery area manually.
- Follow the machine manual for third-party hoop setup.
- Trace the full design boundary before stitching.
Do not assume that every compatible machine will automatically recognize a third-party frame.
10. How should I hoop irregular items such as bibs or bags?
Place the embroidery area over a suitable stabilizer and arrange the round magnets around flat sections of the item.
Leave space around raised seams, straps, pockets or zippers. Secure all loose parts away from the needle, presser foot and moving carriage.
11. What is the recommended maximum material thickness?
Many fabric and stabilizer combinations around 2–3 mm thick can be used as a general reference.
Actual holding performance depends on fabric density, seam thickness, stabilizer and magnet spacing. Confirm that each magnet sits flat and test the setup before stitching the final item.
12. How should the round magnets be cleaned?
Use a soft brush, lint roller or compressed air to remove thread and lint.
Wipe the magnets with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them thoroughly. Avoid soaking the magnets or using sharp metallic cleaning tools.
13. How should I store the hoop?
Store the frame flat in a dry indoor location.
Keep the magnets attached to the metal frame or safely separated so they cannot snap together. Protect the frame and magnets from moisture, excessive heat and strong impact.
14. Is an instruction manual available?
Yes. A downloadable magnetic hoop guide can be added to the product page.
The guide can explain grid-template alignment, fabric and stabilizer placement, magnet arrangement, frame installation, embroidery-area checking and magnet safety.
